That game had a weird flow to it...

I don't know how to explain it but it just felt awkward watching it....I didn't really care who won as I only played the total....

it did have a weird flow to it, colts had 8 possessions, nfl average is 12

what happened was nobody thought the saints could sustain drives

the predominant perception was the saints might hit a big play but otherwise woudl have trouble moving chains methodically

and thats what both teams did do, the colts included had no big plays

what I saw tonight told me that the afc teams without a dominant defense

cant stop nfc teams (the top teams) and their offenses

no dominant new england defense any longer

I think minnesota woiuld have won tonight as well

Well, pains me to say it, but I think the Vikings were the best team this year....Even with all the turnovers, they still had a shot to beat the Saints in New Orleans....

And as far as this game goes--looking at the stats, too.....The Saints held the ball a lot but weren't all that successful on the ground....The Colts had the ball for 3 plays in the 3rd quarter after that onside kick....Strange game...

i think the flow possessions were products of all the completed passes. the clock very rarely stopped. drive, drive, drive punt or score. also, as rome stated, mostly short gains and sustained drives.
