garyrenard's Weak 6 Predictions and Analysis
Ok, yeah...I'm now 7-12 for the season. The 49ers are on my personal "no-fly list", and I've decided to try something new.
Usually I like to make my picks early in the week. This week, I'm waiting until rather early Sunday morning....ok, late Saturday night to do this. Also, I went out this evening and decided to lubricate my brain cells by having a couple of sassparillas. Just a couple, you know, enough to stimuate thought. Who am I kidding? I can't feel my ears. I will brag on myself a little. I'm participating in the Capper of the Month Contest and am currently sporting a rather gaudy 12-4 record so far. I'll probably go 4-12 the rest of the month, which will be tough since there's only 31 days in October. Baltimore +3 at New England Baltimore owns the Patriots, and and that Boldin guy is going to go off on that weak Patriot secondary. Pittsburgh -14 vs Cleveland Bad week for Colt McCoy to make his NFL starting debut. Chicago -6 vs Seattle I see the line moved from 7 to 6. I don't see any reason to have that kind of confidence in Seattle in a road game. Denver +3 vs New York Jets I don't know how often the Broncos are home dogs, but it seems to me that's always a good play. Particularly with the Jets coming off a short week with two CB's limping around. At your own risk...
