GFX's Week 1 NFL 2009 - Capper Consensus Picks

I track about 25 cappers and know all the ones who were 67% or better in the contest last year. I consolidate all the picks from these folks and look for the biggest differential.

In order the top 5 plays are:
Jax +6.5
SF +5.5
Wash +6.5
Dal +5
Philly +5

Jeezus that's what happens when you have a sh--- book...it was down the 20 minutes before i went to place the first round of wagers.

First 3 look pretty good 1st half, I'm now on Wash and SF as my 2 plays for today. All 5 will be tracked of course.

Recap: 5-0 +5*

How 'bout that gents? Took the top 5 differentials (# on one side versus other) from about 25 cappers I watch and went 5-0 with the picks. Unfortunately for me I wasn't able to get on the first few but so what, the system worked well in week 1 and will be back week 2.

Jax +6.5 W
SF +5.5 W
Wash +6.5 W
Dal +5 W
Philly +5 W

I certainly will guys. We each have our on strengths, I am a stats guy and keep good records, I know all the folks who were 67%+ last year in the contests and also know at this forum and 2 others who the consistent top cappers are. I have a list of both, track all the plays, compile them into a spreadsheet and pick the biggest differentials. I am very surprised how well it did in Week 1. The key seems to be making sure it is the very best cappers and not someone who just gets hot for a week or two.
