Giants-49'ers Talk

Let's see what the Giants really have. Manning and company had no problems against the worst defense in the NFL. Now they must face the best defense in the NFC. They have already lost to the 49'ers in San Francisco earlier this season, after holding the lead going into the 4th quarter. Manning had 2 TD tosses, but 2 picks. Has 49er QB Smith finally woke up? Or was the Saints defense just that bad.

49ers are the better team but besides the emotion of last week, grown men balling thier eyes out etc., they have never been this far and the Giants have, that means something but i wouldnt be shocked to see Harbaugh use his own lack of experience and thier to thier advantage by really going out of thier way to be loose for this because its no secret Eli Manning will come to play and test that defense. I think if anyone can get these guys back up to play its Harbaugh.

That's debatable. And I'm not saying the Giants are necessarily the better team either. Both teams are very evenly matched and neither is clearly better than the other at this point....

agree its debateable, vegas opened with just homefield respect, but the better record gets home field obv so i would think the better team has to be the one that earned home field for the NFC final.

obv the best team will be decided sunday so pointless lol

Better qb and wr. Tight end, coaching, defense, running game, kicking, punting all go to San Fran...oh and they are at home.

Again, all debatable, and being at home does not make them a better team. just gives them an edge...

And just a sidenote...To say that Alex Smith and his receivers are better than Eli and his is laughable....

No, he will never be the best ever. But definitely a very good QB win or lose...
