Giants: No to Boldin, Edwards

The New York Giants, have pulled out of talks regarding WR's Anquan Boldin and Braylon Edwards. The Giants claim that the asking price was too high for each player. The Giants will attempt to find a #1 receiver in the draft. Are they looking at Hackeem Nicks? How about under sized Percy Harvin? The big name WR's will be gone by time the Giants draft, at #29.

The Giants are saying NO because Cleveland wants a king's ranson for the guy. Cleveland is asking for NYG's 1st round pick and DE Mathius Kiwanuka. NYG's counter offered their 2nd and 5th round picks.

Also heard a rumor that Cleveland is going to take Sanchez at #5 because they are trying to trade either Quinn or Anderson.

Don't really know how much sense that makes.

I have heard that rumor also, but it makes no sense. If they take Sanchez before they trade one of the other two guys, they really weaken their position because everyone will know that they have to dump one of the two QB's. Cleveland has been one of the most screwed up organizations in the NFL, and they are proving why right now. It seems as if they have no idea what to do.

Detroit would be smart to offer #20 for Quinn or a 4th for anderson......
