The "Good" McNabb will show up in SD...

So McNabb is like Jekyll and Hyde, sometimes he looks awesome and sometime he just looks UGLY. When people expect them to win they blow it but when people think they gonna lose the eagles look brillant.

SD is just as bad...the only thing they got going is Rivers cus their running game is....simply not worth mentioning. I like Philly D to pressure Rivers all day and the Good McNabb will show up to play on Sunday. Now it would help if Westbrook is playing too, I think he is. But its going to be McNabb to Jackson and the chargers is going to have a long day.

what do you guys think?

chargers have a top 5 pass defense so i'm not sure it will be quite as easy as you make it seem. and chargers have seen a lot of blitzes, and completed a lot of passes. it will be a good game, we'll see who takes it. gl

Rivers will have some successful drives, but i think philly will bring more pressure than what they have face the last 3 games (NY, KC, Oak). If LT or his sidekick have success running than it would help, doesn't look that way.

SDs 5th ranked pass defense is a little misleading. Their schedule has certainly aided that having played KC, MIA and 2 against OAK. Jamarcus isn't exactly an imposing QB presence. But then again they are at home.

they are #1 in the league over the last 4 games...1 or 2 games is a coincidence...4 straight really isnt. it's more about the changes they made in the secondary and the pass rush picking up, along with more blitzing

In the last 4 they faced orton (229yds 2 TDs), cassell (97 yds 1TD), E. manning (215 yds, 2 TDs), and jamarcus (109 0 tds)... again could be a schedule bias. Both Manning and Orton had decent games too.

200 yards passing is not good...that is actually probably less than average. not to mention the chiefs were down dd's the entire game, and only amassed 97 yards passing. pretty good for going against a team throwing entire game. listen you can say it was their schedule, but if you look at their defensive backfield it is pretty good

Well actually for the two relevant games (not including KC and Oak b/c they should probably be relegated to College Football, the CFL, or maybe Arena Football) the game totals are right at the average (slightly below for Giants and slightly above for Broncos). Also, since you bring up the fact that KC trailed most of the game we might as well mention that in the Denver game two kicks were returned for touchdowns. In other words the Broncos had 2 less offensive possessions (they also ran the ball more than average). I'm not saying SD's secondary is shit merely pointing out that their rating as a top 5 passing d may be suspect.

post broncos were when the secondary changes were made but yes that was a game skewed by the returns. however, the last 3 games, all under their season avg for passing yards and chargers have 15 sacks
