Green bay has looked very balanced in the preseason. rodgers looking good with more experience, less dristactions and plenty of weapons. Defense looks like they might improve with that 3-4.

If favre gets banged up especially at his age it could easily happen, they will have to rely mostly on peterson. farve stepping in with a new team will make things difficult vikings at +150

chicago is the slight favorite at +140. I have a feeling cutler will not have quite the same weapons he did in denver. new team will take time to adjust. The bears d is not the same is it has been especially the pass d.

looks like good value here with green bay. I think i will lay a few units on the pack +200

-Without Favre MIN had a big ? at QB. The Vikes go from the #11 to #28 schedule and won't need a late season surge to make the playoffs. MIN 11-5 tops.

-The Packers had SIX net close losses so they were a handful of plays from being 12-4 last year. Despite their 6-10 record they outgained foes 351-334 which is more like a 9-7 or 10-6 team. They face the #31 schedule in the NFL (6 games vs teams with 5 or less wins LY) and I really like DC Dom Capers who switches the D to a 3-4. QB Rodgers also now has experience. This is a team that was much better than its 6-10 record and is actually on par with CHI and MIN and will contend for the Div title. GB 9-7 or better.

-Da Bears D should rebound after unusually low finishes of #28 and #21 the last two years. The schedule is softer than last year and they could top last year's 9 win total with Cutler and Forte. CHI 9-7.

-The Lions play only two teams at home that had a losing record last year so their opportunities will be few. While the Lions will be more competitive and break their 17 game losing streak at some point, they have a lot of groung to make up. DET 1-15, or 3 W tops.
