As a Green Bay Packer fan.....

I've never been more disgusted with a team's performance. No heart, no aggressiveness, no emotion, and no leadership. Give the Giants credit for taking advantage of so many mistakes but I've never seen a team beat themselves more than Green Bay did today. It was guys dropping critical passes on critical downs, fumbling from people who haven't fumbled all year, poor passes, lack of tackling, and not blitzing enough allowing Manning to sit in a bubble and throw all day.

The game plan on defense puzzles me like nothing else....where were the blitzes tonight? The 3 man fronts giving Manning all day to throw? What the hell was that? Absolutely no penetration all night....the NY offensive line is the MVP tonight for sure. Offensively and defensively I've never seen a more poorly coached game.

Green Bay should be embarrassed for the performance they put on the field tonight. Not taking anything away from NY, but any team in the NFL could have and would have beaten Green Bay the way they played tonight.

I'm disappointed, that's all I can really say....waste of a great regular season. I hope they take a long, hard look at how pathetic they looked tonight.

Goodnight....

I think they lost some swagger when they lost to KC.

it all makes sense if you look back at it now

they had an insane calendar playing the nfl season opener, thanksgiving day, xmass day, new years day. Then they rest thier starters for 2 weeks and expect them to be sharp 3 weeks later.

mentally they had no chance

The Giants are a big-play offense. They led the league in 30+ yard plays this season. They knew blitzing means Eli makes big plays with their underrated wide receiver group. Keep everything in front, and force Eli to march them down the field little by little. That's what I think their D-coordinator was thinking.

I think you can also credit the great job the Giants secondary did. How many coverage sacks were there tonight? How many times was Rodgers forced to tuck it in and run for a 1st down?

So its the coaches fault they got their ass handed to them today. They just met a better team. When you get your ass kicked at home it speaks volumes.

Green Bay always had an issue with their defense and today was no exception. Despite all of the mistakes that they made in the first half, they were still in the game until they allowed that crazy Hail Mary T.D. pass. That finished them. This was a team that was poorly prepared. They had better find a defense.

who is making excuses about coach's? you are making that one up i never said anything like that. 99% of teams rest some of thier starters week 17.

greenbay lost to a better team today yes thats right, my point is that there are reasons for them being enferior in january as opposed to october.

packers werent up to the task of defendilng the title and taking everyones best shot including the giants tonight

I guess the Lions who you bashed all year as "pretenders" weren't the only team like that from the NFC north......

Sorry bro, had to take a jab after all the abuse you cast at Detroit this year!

Heck of a regular season, they have a great offense but similar to the Lions need I figure out some things on the defensive side of the ball.

Nothing to be ashamed of, that is still a great two year run.

No worries Packer fans, it's not like they won't be on TV even with a loss tonight. I am sure with the loss, Arod, Raji, Matthews and more of the team can now move forward with an even more hilarious discount double check commercial for the Super Bowl. There's plenty of comedic material that they could use from the game against the Giants. I expect State Farm to be coming up with a script (if they didn't have one already) for a great commercial for the Super Bowl.
