GREEN BAY vs MINNESOTA WRITE UP

Vikings Offense Line vs Packers Defensive Line- This battle is won by the vikings. The vikings who are led by Hutchinson have experience and the packers only hope is Kampman bringing pressure. Packers DT Pikket who missed the entire preseaon will play tonight but look for him to be out of shape. The viking other starting DT Jolly in 2 seasons has only 17 tackles and 1 sack.

Packers Offensvie Line vs Vikings Defensive Line- This is where the game is going to be determined. Can the Vikings who allowed Grant to run for 125 yards last year in their 2nd game stop him and force Rodgers to throw the ball. The Vikings picked up Jared ALLEN who led the league last year with 15 1/2 sacks during the offseason. The vikings are stacked on their defensive line most likely this is their strong point of the team. The vikings have 3 PRO BOWLERS on the D- line. I am going to have to say this battle is going to be won by the vikings but it will not be easy at Greenbay.

Linebackers- Greenbay has Hawk who suffered an early preseason chest muscle injury. He is being reported able and healthy to play. The packs Barnett is one of the leagues finest also who had a total of 131 hits last season. Vikings LBs are led by Henderson who had a total of 118 TKLs. Second is Greenway who had 105 TKLs. Both teams third LBs are weak. Advantage--- If HAWK is healthy goes to Packers

Cornerbacks- Packers have two once outstanding but now older CBs. Will they be able to compete tonight against a healthy Vikings recieving core. Most likely yes but the key is going to be able to make solid takles on the outside runs by peterson tonight. Vikings Corners are Winfield and Griffin. Griffing who had 92 TKLs in 2007 is the bettor of the two. Griffin 6'0 203 will be challenged against Driver and Jennings but thats where Darren Sharper SS will be a huge help. Advantage--- A closer one than people think but it goes to Green bay.

Safties- There are 2 tonight that will be a difference maker. Hard hitting Ateri Bigbi from the packers and the smart Darren Sharper. Advantage ---- TIE !!!!

Recievers- This is my difference maker that noone sees. It goes to the Vikings!!! Why??? Because they have a rungame that will allow Berrian and second year reciever 6'4 Sidney Rice to have a couple big play action pass plays. I'm not saying Jennings and Driver aren't bettor because they probably are but tonight the Vikings recievers will have a bettor day.

Runningbacks- Is this even up for debate? It's bad enough the viking have Peterson but to have another back that could start on 20 other NFL teams is just unfair. Vikings easily.

KEY TO THE GAME- MNF over 1 million viewers first weak jitters. Who is more experienced? Who can slow the game down and take control? The answer VIKINGS. Look for the vikings to not only cover the spread but to win. We all know as bettors you get -3 for being the home team. The line now at BODOG as I write this is -2 Packers.

My prediction

Vikings 20
Packers 17

I know I'm a rookie on this site so please help me. This is my first post write up. It was not meant to predict a winner just to inform everyone on different things about the game tonight. Other than who I predicted please tell me what you thought?

I agree with you on everything except receivers. No way you can say the Vikings will have the edge at that position.

I'm a huge Packer fan and have followed almost everything leading up to this game, and I can honestly tell you I have no idea who is going to win. If the Packers can force a turnover or 2 and turn this into a shootout, I think they win easily. But if they let this game turn into a grind it out, smash-mouth run game, the Vikings will have their number.

Like I said, I am gonna stay away from the line, but I am leaning on the Over.

I see a 31-27 game or something close to that, not sure who will win though.

Thanks for the reply. But if you read closely I said that the packers have the bettor of the two recieving player wise. But team wise the Vikings have a bettor chance of opening up the pass game due to their running ability.

I am in the process of the other game tonight. I am doing a lot of research and my write up will be finished in about a half an hour for the Raider game.

Nice write-up can't wait to see Oak/Den one..

I'm already on over for this game at 37.5 and haven't decided what I'm doing yet in the late game.

Yea your missing a couple of factors though. Adrian Peterson and the mobility of TJ. And no Brett Favre for the Pack. I'm not betting on this game I just predicted what I thought. I am betting on the Raiders tonight though! That is my bet of the week.
