Question Has John Fox saved his job

they never play well 2 years in a row, always on/off/on

yet they always close strong on the off years

what say you?

Matt Moore is the future

Think he might have saved his job unless the rumors are true about Cowher wanting to come back. I don't know the Panthers financial situation and if that is even possibility.

as a panther fan I dont want Cowher...

Cant think of a coach id prefer over Fox who will be available right now...

the team had to learn a new defense and it took a little time...they will be fine next year

I dont dislike him...just dont see how he would do any better

Id prefer to keep Fox, continuity...Do think jake needs to hang them up of course

The new defense is starting to gel, still top 3 Oline in the league

...a legit #2 receiver is all they need

For years now they have said that this is the year of the Panthers. Each and every year they have under achieved. Fox has had more then enough time to get this team turned around. He should have been cut loose 2 years ago.

Funny, I was going to ask you about him today. He's been playing well. Jake is done...officially.

He will not be around next year IMO. His stubborness in not making a change at QB until Delhomme got hurt was his nail in his coffin in my opinion. Delhomme reminded me of Lidge when he got rocked by Pujols in that playoff game, after Delhommes meltdown in the playoffs last year he has not looked like he has had any confidence in himself all year and if not for the injury Fox would of kept trotting him out there and the Panthers would of continued to look horrible.

Cowher I think would be a great fit for the Panthers. One of the things that I kept asking myself watching Panthers games earlier in the year why was so much of the offense still being left in Delhommes hands and not put back into the run game. Don't think Cowher would make that mistake with how this team can run the ball.

i dont see why he would still have a job. They alwasy under acheive and the team never plays consistant. Sometimes a situation just goes stale and there needs to be a change.

oh and Matt Moore is great..hated to see him get picked up off waivers when he was in the cowboys camp a few years ago
