High Powered Diesel Monday

Sean Payton's team is averaging 36.9 points a game and is on pace to score 590 points. The unbeaten Saints have injury problems in the secondary, never a good thing when preparing to meet Tom Brady, who has 14 TDs in his past five games. The NFL's top offenses will be on display and it will be extremely important to get the passing game going, which could result in an old-fashioned shootout. The Saints have had 18 players score a touchdown so far this season. The Patriots have never lost to the Saints in New Orleans. This is the kind of game that could come down to who has the ball last, so there will be plenty of strategy involved, including field-position battles. Ultimately, this could play out like a chess match normally reserved for a low-scoring game, but with high-powered numbers. This is the ultimate battle of wills. Expect the Saints to be aggressive. Two spitefull coaches one-uping each other on the offensive end of the ball. Each is a offensive "genius". Brady needs only 163 yards to pass Drew Bledsoe and move into first place on the team's all-time passing yardage list. It is not easy for NFL games to get up and over a total in the high-50s. That’s why you rarely see totals posted that high and I will not be surprised to see it hit 60 by kickoff.......................
