Thanks for the honest imput guys, Local media guy Mark Madden says no chance, but he hates Hines. MM is like the howard stern of sports radio, calls him whines hard. My view on the subject is tainted so i appreciate the input.

Some say you had to be the best at your position for a few years. Hines may have been that but in the Steelers Off those years you would never have the stats to back it up, which does make his stats even better if you consider the Offense hines played in.

Steeler hater as well, but I think he eventually gets in. During his era they were a top 3 team along with NE and Indy and he was a key part. Team success does play a part.

Charger fan, on the wrong side against Pitt too many times! Although I hated Pitt even as a little guy when I lived in LA and was a Ram fan, Vince Feragamo vs Bradshaw. So obvioulsy I hated Pitt for a long time, except when Gibson batted down the pass and SD went to the SB, I liked Pitt then! Haha

All good reasons Cali, Took me a long while to get over afc 1994, could'nt watch TV for awhile. TV went through dorm window(5 stories up).

Your right if M. Irvin gets in , Ward should be a shoe-in.
