Houston getting no respect or is this a trap game?...

Im sitting here trying to figure out this Houston/Dallas game and I just can't understand the line. Houston is a 2.5-3 point favorite at home depending where you look , so that means nuetrally they are about even. The fact that both were 3 point favs against Washington on the road evens shows how the books felt they are pretty even teams. However, Houston beat Wash, where as Dallas lost. Dallas also lost their other game to Chicago(not a bad team, but definitely not an elite team) where as Houston beat Indy, one of the top 3 teams in the league by most peoples standards. Houston is 2-0 with 2 great wins, Dallas is 0-2 with 2 bad losses, yet Hoston is still only a 2.5 favorite right now. Something really stinks here....

sportsbooks goal is going to be to get even money - since dallas is "america's team", they always get more money put on them, as they have so many fans - lines are always shaded a bit towards them, much like teams like notre dame in college. Very rarely is line value gonna be on the cowboys side.

That being said, I do think Dallas matches up well here, and this game is a MUST win game for dallas - and i think they win this weekend,

Hey BigfratDaddy I think Dallas is the dumbest team playing in the NFL well almost and when they lose to Houston it will 0-3,that will prove it. Romo hasn't got a clue and the coach has pictures of (well I wont say) on his clip board ppl would take it wrong. but he just walks around in a daze on the football field. Wished I had his job.

i think a bet on dallas here is basically a gamble that this is the week they put it all together and play the way that they're supposed to be playing on paper

Agree with this - they have too much talent and eventually they're gonna start playing like it. their o-line is finally starting to get healthy and one of these weeks they're gonna break out, like you said its a gamble as to which week its gonna be

I hate Dallas with a passion too & hope they lose, but I think they will find a way to win this game.

I think that Houston is ever bit as good if not better then Washington and Chicago. With that said I don't believe the Cowboys aren't going to win. Until Romo shows me he can read a defense and not float passes high over the middle they may struggle. They look every bit of an 8 - 8 team. I've seen several very good QB's that have played for the Cowboys over the years but Romo is definetly not one of them. He has the look of someone who really doesn't want to be there. His leadership skills are horrible. No bet for me but I lean on Houston to be 3 - 0 by weeks end.
