How bad of a coach was Brian Billick?

I mean this is basically the same team as last year besides Flacco & this year they are dominant. How much of this is coaching?

Any coach who gets a ring deserves some credit.

Billick practices were too lax and it showed.

Billick EASILY wasted 2 more trophys by not getting a solid O to play with this D

To follow that year-to-year analogy even further, Billick coached a similar group to 13-3 in 2006, and he was the same coach then as he was in 2007 going 5-11.

Some seasons things go your way and others they don't, doesn't necessarily make a coach smart or stupid.

I think he was a decent coach. Suprised hes not getting attention at all, or maybe he likes his gig in the NFL now. But it is funny how an offensive coach can go to a team and never develop one.

I think Billick is a great coach. He is not the one on the field .As I remember the last few years he had iconsistancy in QB and injuries.Look at all the rest of the teams this year that have done nothing with key injuries that started out well.(Packers,Eagles,Chargers).When they are healthy and when they are banged up.We have seen the difference.Billick also won a S.B as a head coach.I think he would be a great addition to a rebuilding effort. And I am really surprised he ha not been mentioned as a candidate in any of those vacancies.

QB is everything in this league, Flacco can throw the ball as far as a McNair- Boller relay throw

It is funny how a defensive coach can go to a team and never develop one. AKA Marvin Lewis.

Coaches are important but if you don't have the proper personel well then you will suck.

Just proves that an NFL coach is probably the least important reason for a team winning the championship than in any other sport, college or pro

eg. Barry Switzer
