How Bout a Weekly NFL Contest

Each participant ponies up 20 points. Gotta pick sides only on every game.

Gotta get every side correct 13/13 or 16/16 to win pool.

Winner takes all the points. Multiple winners points split.

No winners, points are rolled over to next weeks games and only those that entered the previous week are allowed to enter but you have to put up 20 points again.

Points are rolled to the next week until a winner.

I like the idea but how about 5 sides? Going 13-0 or 16-0 is insane. Like 20pts per week 5-0 wins the pool, if nobody hits 5-0 the pool rolls over etc.. Like until playoffs. And of course their would have to be a trusted mod of the forum or someone trusted to hold the points. Thoughts?

I like the idea if we can agree on a format I will play...having a perfect week is a little unrealistic but 5-8 games could get interesting thats for sure

I was thinking every game but you just got to pick the team that wins, no pointspread. Someone will win a shit load of points. Doesn't seem to be enough interest though.

I like it. I like all types of contest even though I never win. But right now, I'm just trying to get my points up to 500 so I can enter the Second chance survivor this weekend.

would like to play that but yeah the season is what, 12 weeks left and it's possible no one gets a perfect week on picks. Maybe pick all sides on Sunday only and 10 or 11 wins gets it. Tiebreaker would be monday night game first the winner then the total yards. Or they just split the pts.

Or pick every game assign a point value. 13 games so best pick is 13pts lowest confidence is 1 pt and the person with the most pts that week wins.

I'm only at 50 pts now which is too bad I wanted either that 2nd chance survivor or the NFL jersey one. but those require 500 or 250 pts. ugh.
