I feel Atlanta is the way to go tonight

I felt great about Detroit today and almost equally as strong in Atlanta. Seeing how things unfolded today, I feel even better in Atlanta. Besides Baltimore, all the big teams won and covered the spread. Looking through service forums and forums alone, it was another big winning day for the public. Matt Ryan is basically playing for his reputation across the entire city of Atlanta. As if going 20-2 or whatever it is at home is not enough, he now has to prove that he is the answer against Michael Vick who won this city over years ago. There is extreme amounts of pressure on Ryan to perform here today, and he has never had trouble performing at home throughout his career. I agree that it is tough to bet against the Eagles considering all the talent they have, but that is infact the only reason anyone is really betting on them. This talent did not overly impress against the St. Louis Rams last week, albeit they got quite short handed as the game went on. Atlanta is in a huge bounce back game today, and as we saw from Pittsburgh and New Orleans today, the bounce back factor is in huge effect, especially going home. We also saw the let down factor in huge effect in Baltimore, and Green Bay going on the road. I just think Atlanta is the clear play today and I have to roll with the Falcons and Ryan's incredible track history in the Georgia Dome. Also remember how Vick has done in big games through his career. He tends to sail the ball a little bit and get overly antsy in the pocket. He faces a defense that can put pressure on him and is playing in what I feel is the biggest game in his career since he went in and won in Lambeau.

Another wild finish. Lost a couple days off my life after the two wins following detroit. What I did notice that was strange about this game tonight is the live betting at commercials. I play at 5dimes and after the Eagles went up 10 I was looking to get out ASAP. At halftime, the 4th quarter over under stayed up the entire third quarter commercials or not. It was set at O/14 -120 and U/14 -105. It eventually moved to -110 but the line was left up the entire quarter. Sure enough it was a 14 point quarter and the Falcons ended up winning. I found it very odd that this line was left up the entire game and really told the story. I can not imagine the volume that came in on the over as those points kept flying up through the third quarter. Philly was driving there at the end, any points cashed the over. I had that in the back of my mind while they were inside the 30 yard line. It was one of those things that just seemed way to good to be true and was somewhat on my side. Maybe something to think about in games coming up in the future. I also found it interesting how when Atlanta pulled to within 4 points, the spread for Philadelphia was -3.5 +280 and they never gave the chance for a flat 3 to hedge out, while books like Bet365 had the running option to hedge almost the entire game and always had a spread that was nearly 1 or 2 points lower especially in the final 10 minutes of the game.

Just something I saw. Maybe I was getting a little nuts after thinking today was going to be a coaster after Detroit rolled to having to sweat out Miami in the second half and then Atlanta late in the day. Hope everyone ended up on the plus side of things!
