Thumbs down I hope Dolphins fans are happy......

Well--you get the dome closed today, so it will be nice and comfortable for your golden-boy Pennington to play.

This is a bunch of BULL-$hit and even Dolphin fans have to agree. I realize economics are behind this, but give me a break!! This is supposed to be a "home" game for Buffalo, so let the elements that the Bills are use to come into play.

It is supposed to be in the 10's and low 20's with single digit wind-chill and chance of snow--PERFECT Buffalo weather. It's bad enough they took a game from the season ticket holders, and even worse it was the Miami game. Hell--thee "loyal" fans of Toronto couldnt even sell out the game with only 51,000 seats in the dome. The Bills-Miami game is always one of the first, or the first to be sold out when played in Orchard Park.

Stick to the Argonauts, Hockey and Yonge Street and leave the American football to us!! Also--a lot of people may not even realize how much revenue was taken away from Buffalo and Orchard Park and the folks who benefit from the Sundays on Abbott Rd, Southwestern Blvd and Big Tree!!!

Im not making ANY excuses, and expect to take some slack for this, but just venting and giving my 2-cents on the subject.

I hope the game is good, and of course Im routing for the Bills (duh). I am actually happy for what Miami has done, and if they beat us today, hope they can get to the playoffs instead of New England and Belli-cheat!!

I thought I heard that the reason why they aren't opening the dome is because they didn't think they could get it shut again with the weather.

Either way, as a Dolphin fan - I'll take it.

Plus, don't you think non-diehard fans in Toronto would rather be inside in a 72-degree controlled atmosphere rather than in 10 degree windy/rainy/snowy weather?

Yeah--lets dump the Bills and keep teams like Detroit, St Louis, Oakland and Houston.......4 teams that dont even come close to the sell-outs the Bills do and with fan loyalty far below Buffalo!!

this is like the Packers, Bears or Vikings playing in Canada and their fans would be outraged as well......

I can tell you I for one am happy but Bills fans shouldn't be crying about it. How many times over the years have the Fins come here in December? They almost never come here in Sept, always cold weather. And today is one of the coldest of the year here. If the Bills want to profit off this Toronto deal they should b prepared to deal with the consequenses, losing their homefield edge is one of them. Ralph just needs to count his money he is making over the next five years to forget about it

less than 51,000 tickets, or 73,000 in Buffalo--doesnt make sense. He is trying to gain Canadian fans to come to Buffalo and support the move. Its not our fault the CFL is a joke!! Come on Chris, you are in WNY, you know the loyalty and dedication the fams of both the Bills and Sabres have, especially in such a depressed and run-down area.

maybe if the Dolphins play a game in Cuba or Puerto Rico you would see this differently

Absolutely I have never and will never doubt the dedication of Bills fans, I'm just saying that this deal was made to make the Bills money, and they should accept the good with the bad. They don't need to market to Canadians they already have a big Canadian fan and season ticket base. This deal fattens Ralphs pockets and that is all. Avg ticket price in TO for this game is more than double the avg for a game in Buffalo

Good teams should win wherever they play, that said - I would be pissed if I was a Bill season ticket holder

True... but last year, I know I was pissed that the Dolphins chose to allow the NFL to take one of our home games when we played at London. Now looking back, I thank them. lol

I was for 5 years before I moved!! You are 100% right on winning anywhere, but hey, EVERY year the Bills go south to hot and humid weather, and the Dolphins come north to cold, windy and snow--kind of love-hate thing which made this a nasty, but good and fun rivalry!!

There were other games besides this that could have been played there!!

Yeah they shouldn't have moved the division game, probably would have less complaints if they moved that Niners game last week
