If you were a GM would you take a flier

on Michael Vick...if the situation or the money was right...If he could still play the position of course

Teams like KC, Minny, Jets.....all need a QB

I went to a Atlanta game last year and there is still a lot of Vick jerseys in the crowd...

He seems to have a wide fan base still present in Atlanta especially among blacks

I would be torn...first I never thought he was an elite QB but he was entertaining...and if you are not going to contend he would put butts in the seats even if just to boo him....

I probably would give him a shot at the league minimum with incentive based contract....

What are your thoughts???

i think there is a good chance he will be more motivated then before, plus could be much stronger.

Worth a shot imo.

I would see what the NFL is going to do to him. If he faces more suspension time, he is not worth it. Best case senario is to sign him for the absolute minimum and use him only when needed until you can see what he has left. I would rather take my chances with the draft than take this guy in hopes of him starting one day. The fans will hate him, especially on the road. This guy may bring too much luggage with him.

The 49ers already signed Mike Johnson as their new QB coach (Vick's QB coach from Atlanta) they're waiting for the Falcons to cut him.

He cant play QB, he was never anything above average and who knows with the time off. If a team were to sign him it would be minimum and maybe as a 20-30 play guy who can do alot. Slot reciever, RB, QB. Do a little of everything. But I wouldnt want my team to sign him, id leave him for someone else

I agree for the most part....if I could not make money off of him I would not sign him...if I could even if it was because PETA bought the tickets up...I would...I view him the same way he treated his animals...only he gets treated better

create some innovative offense where he lines up 10-15 yards behind center, so when he gets the snap his athletic ability can be utilized to the fullest, and gives him time to see the field

I wouldn't the risk far out weighs the reward. Vick is tarnished and I believe he would bring down a franchise in a lot of ways. First off PETA may be at every game for some time and the Publicity could kill a team. Second of all he isn't a QB he is a WR so bringing him back as a QB is ridiculious. He can run like the wind but he is to inconsistent to be called a QB. Enough said this GM is taking a pass for any and all NFL teams.

I would for sure take a shot on him. HE fills up the seats..is exciting and opposing defenses are always just focused on him. Not to mention he improves your running game. Atlanta's rushing attack used to always be at the top. He can throw as well if you give him good receivers that can catch darts.

Lot of people don't think much of him or his skills. I'm an Atlanta Falcon fan and I used to love Vick. His passing ability wasn't the greatest...but his problem was no accuracy. Most of the time his receivers just dropped balls because he put too much heat on it. His ability to get out of the pocket was huge. I think for a team that is struggling he's worth a shot. I'm glad we have Matt Ryan now, but Vick will always be missed. He was a true talent.

I really hope he comes back in the NFL and proves people wrong. He totally screwed himself over..the man has paid his price. He went from being the richest NFL athlete to going bankrupt. Sucks to see, but that's what you get for being dumb.
