Looks like the Iggles are trading Sheldon Brown and Chris Gocong to Cleveland for some more draft pix. I like Brown alot but he got himself into bad graces by bitching about a contract that he just signed. I dont begrudge the man for that but the Iggles notoriously do. That is 2 more starters gone and with McNabb soon to be gone they will have saved about 50 million this year, YEH Lmao. This team is an absolute joke right now. They have killed any type of value that McNabb had by overvaluing him and then everyone that needed a QB went elsewere and now the dumbass front office is stuck. They will end up giving him away. Now the starting corner is gone and they are going to rely on a nickel back in HANSON and Hobbs to replace him. WTF. The already weak dfense is worse. I dont know what to make of this but this is brutal right now.

PB, liked Sheldon Brown but really seems like they are trying to rebuilded with young talent quickly trial by fire so to speak. Their avg age player got to be around 25 or so and with most of the players on their first contracts make them all affordable. If Kolb does well your stuck with Reid for a few more years, if he falters could get the axe in a year or two.

2 very young stud recievers, a young proven TE, our O-Line is pretty much set minus some depth and a position. young RB that has a chance to be really good, mike bell good addition and we have a up and coming QB. offense is fine.

the eagles are revamping the defense and they will do that with their picks. they are doing this perfectly. we have an offense barring injuries that is set for the next 5 years. you can sit there with an aging defense, you need to revamp now and this team will be crazy good in a year or two.

everyone has to rebuild sooner than later, there are teams that are rebuilding for 10 years, this transition for the eagles will be seamless.


its so funny and maybe its because im not from philly, but how can you complain about this team. for the last 10 years, they take you to 5 NFC Championships, 1 SB apperance and the playoffs almost every year. the front office obviously doesnt know what they are doing tho. in the end its the players that lost the NFC championship games and the super bowl game, not the front office, they got the players and personnel that was capable of doing it, players didnt execute and we were starting to get a little old and sheldon brown, mcnabb werent going to get any better to beat the pack, cowboys, saints this year. that era is done. they were very very very close, almost buffalo bills type close, but 10 years is enough.
