I'm used to being wrong, but seriously...
I'm used to being wrong a lot of the time since I trade and analyze currencies and futures markets for a living. I don't even mind being wrong there, because there's an asymmetric payoff when I'm right. As such, I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong.
And, I was very wrong about the Jets last night. They are clearly the superior team, but they put in a very lackluster performance. The Broncos defense is better than I gave them credit for, with a healthy Bailey and Dumervil. I was too focused on the below average QB they have along with lackluster running game. And, the Broncos are built to play close games. Sanchez's pick six was the difference maker in that game, but even without it, the Jets probably don't cover. Tebow is a very effective runner, and a downright awful passer. But, at least Fox recognizes this, and limits the number of attempts he's given - which limits his INTs. Tebow doesn't have much of a future as a starting QB considering all of the hits he'll take over the course of season, but he was masterfull on that last drive. |

having about 1 day to prepare for an offense they don't play against and probably wouldn't play against again for a long time did not help.
Sunday night game then travel for this was a huge detriment. The guys who saw the value in that and picked denver were spot on. I agree if this were played on sunday or played 2 out of 3 times jets would win the majority but that didn't happen and it sucks. Just head into the weekend, do a little research, make the smart plays that can be made and hope for the best.
