Indianapolis-Minnesota Line

Was wondering what both team's performances in Week 1 would do to the line

Greek has come out with the line

Indianapolis -3 (+105) at Minny

Don't even know what to think about that

Indy has got to bounce back.. Although I can't see either team being 0-2.

That line is quite strange, surely Indi are -5.5 atleast, no?

I'd back the Vikings +3.5

not good for Indy:
Adai - head injury
D. Clark - knee injury
Peyton - Knee looks gimpy - he doesn't look so confident
Saturday - can't play on Sunday...

Minny... hmmm... Can AP play all the positions?

Line Indy -2 on Pinny, Bet Jamaica, Greek at -2.5 now

Minny as a home dog historically has been a very good bet

Will be interesting to see what happens here

because the vikes are at home, people expecting a indy bounce back, but the vikings can pound the rock right at indy and play decent defense. It will be a very tough game for indy...they got run over by matt forte at will

I'd take indy giving 2.5 and here's why:
1. manning is just a little rusty. he'll get his timing back soon enough.
2. marv harrison '08 is better than the '07 version
3. tavaris jackson won't win games if they fall behind early
4. indy's speedy defense can match up well against A.P.

After watching the Vikings/Packers game, it was obvious that the Vikings pass defence is just pathetic. Vikes have a great run defence but that's about it. Peyton will definitely be less rusty this week as opposed to the Chicago game and he should have a great day against this Vikes secondary. Vikings overall defence is no where in line with the Bears defence and we all know that Peyton is a perfectionist, he's gonna bust his butt off this week to get that offence back on track. I can see Indy getting up big early in this one which will take the AP effect out of this one...they are too good of a team not to bounce back. Neither one of these teams was expected to be 0-2 so if it came down to a one game showdown, I'd have to go with Indy because they know very well they can't afford to go 0-2 and expect to be in the playoff race in the AFC.

Minny down to 1 or 11/2in many books now. One of the worst kept secrets in Indy is the fact that Payton is not in shape either physically or MENTALLY. He is going thru a messy separation, and this has to be working on his head. Add on the injuries, and this is anyone's game.
