It's called a "Make Me Happy" bet...

I've got $400 on Tennessee tonight because if the Texans lose it will take about that much to ease my pain.

Just wondering if has anyone else ever placed a bet against your favorite team so that if they lose you will feel a little better with your winnings.

Sometimes takes me an hour or so to figure out what the dollar amount to make me feel better depending on the game and situation.

Love when it falls like tonight and the team I had to bet on is getting points and I have a chance for a double dip with winners on both sides.

Texans by 3 I'm loving life.

If the Texans lose a 20 spot won't do the trick. LOL That's the key need a number that really eases the pain.

Won't cost me $400. That's why I bet Tennessee.

The more I gamble the thinner my allegiance to the teams I once fanatically supported. I find myself on the outer with a lot of the fans as I now start to question the team's structure and mentality as a whole. Following a team is like a religion. Don't ask questions just show blind faith. I've lost the faith.

So If I bet against my "team" today I death ride them. Where in previous years I would never dare to bet against them.
