It's a good thing Colt protected his career instead of playing for the title!!!
Now instead of having a Championship Game moment to look back on the rest of his life, he can have a strong arm for selling insurance in 2 years......

Well said, still mad about losing my 100 future bet at 8-1 odds on Texas to win the Championship b/c he got a little numbness in his arm.

Anybody that truly believes Colt was not hurt and wouldn't have given his left nut to be on the field in the title game is a complete idiot....guy was still out for a month or so after the game...a qb cannot perform with a dead arm....

As a Sooner alum, I naturally hate Texas, but to think Colt wasn't hurt is misguided. The kid was definitely hurt. He is a gamer.

Again let me say.....Chris Simms played a half of football with a ruptured spleen.....in the middle of the season....on an average Tampa Bay team......Colt was joking around on the sidelines of a national championship game with a "thousand-dollar" arm.....
