Both teams coming off a playoff high as they upset some good teams last week. But the niners beating the saints players acted like they won the superbowl. All week they talked about the game and the catch 3 and it seem like they have not move on. Giants beating the packers was a bigger upset but eli & co acted like they have been there before. I think its going to be difficult for the niners to play with that same intensity as last week and the giants have proven they can win on the road in the playoffs.
All the talk is about the great niner defense but if it wasnt for those 5 turnovers which led to some easy points but if you watched the game the saints passed the ball on them all day over 400 yds passing. Giants d is the ones playing well as they held the falcons to 242 total yards and 2 points and rodgers to under 300 yds passing. Yes the packers dropped some passes but the refs blew some calls that led to packer points too. Niners offense is not as good as falcons or packers. Niners had one td early in the game on a miss tackle but the rest the way they had 8 punts until the 2 miraculous tds at the end of the game which they needed even after being plus 4 in the turnover battle.
Giants are a different healthy team now then the one when they played each other in november. SF needed an onside kick and 2 turnovers to barely beat the giants. Manningham also dropped a game tying td. I think giants will learn from that game and current games and will be focused on protecting the ball. If coughlin is smart he will not leave v davis in single coverage. Giants d is better than saints. 49ers offense is not atl or gb. Giants passing attack to overpower niners. giants by 10 or more!
