James Harrison

His agent is all but begging the Steelers to call him back. So no one wants him so he wants back on the best franchise in the business. I guess he should have tried to re-work his contract like they asked him to do. This is going to get interesting.

30 % pay cut with the option to make that back looking pretty good right now, his agent didn't sniff out the market very well, His agent is the one who should be hiding.

Should be a 50% lose on his contract. He cost us to many 15yd penalties for his hitting. If he can't perform then he should not be paid.

Steelers have let James know they are not interested. Looks like Worlds is going to get a shot. Either way the Steelers are set on getting younger. Good bye James enjoy your time with the raiders.

Harrison signed with New England. Believe me when I say He's done.
Baltimore's running backs ran around his end the whole day. NE already knows Pitt's signals so it won't help them.
He's too slow and needed to be released to file the spot on the roster for Gilbert. Pitt scored 34 on a good defense with
all the linemen in. They struggled against GB, Balt, NE, and Cincinnati without him.
Also With the return of corner back Joe Haden, this team will be a defense to recon with in these playoffs.
He can cover any NFL receiver period!!!! Freeing up safety's
and LB's to play zone D. Two Monster healthy additions.
Like I said Pittsburgh and New Orleans in Super Bowl!

So why do you think the patriots signed him then?

I don’t care if he runs a 15 second 40. It will just be fun seeing him in a Patriots uniform! lol

James Harrison has been anything but nice so this move does not surprise me. As a matter of fact most Steeler fans saw this coming. All I can say is I am thankful for his time in Pittsburgh and I hate to see it end like this. Only the coaching staff knows what he can give the Patriots we can all just speculate. I believe his work on the field is finished as youth wins out and film does not lie. As a fan I question the front office on the timing. But lets ride this season out and let the stories come out in the end. Interesting video on the internet of James in the weight room running down the coaching staff. He went on a 4 minute rant about his body being on the side lines. No one needs someone acting like this in their locker room and James of all people should have known better.

The Pats are not stupid. All the SB wins and 12+ wins per season point to this. They must have seen something there or they would not have signed him. We will have to wait and see...

Anything to help the Pat's get into Pitts head! Cutting him just made it way to easy too.

Making the transition to the Patriots locker room should be an interesting challenge for a man who has been vocal about his hate for New England in the past. From Spygate to Deflategate, Harrison had an opinion on all the scandals involving the Patriots.

When talking about Spygate in an article with Nathaniel Welch of Men’s Journal, Harrison said:

“I should have another ring. We were the best team in football in 2004, but the Patriots, who we beat during the regular season, stole our signals and picked up 90 percent of our blitzes” in the AFC title game. “They got busted for it later, but, hey, they’re Goodell’s boys, so he slapped ’em $500,000 and burned the tapes. Was he going to rescind their Super Bowls? – man, hell no!”

“I hate those (expletives), especially those two clowns who talked about me after the fines.” Referencing Rodney Harrison and Tedy Bruschi. “Sayin’ I’m dirty – (expletive), Harrison was the dirtiest player ever, a steroid cheater who was known by the whole world to be a headhunter and late hitter. And Bruschi’s an idiot, straight-up simple. I’d like to meet them both in a dark alley.”

He was still talking about it in 2015, in an interview with Chris Bradford of The Times.

Hell, I felt cheated back in 2004-05, when they came here and hit us on 90-92 percent of our blitzes. They only missed one or two, that’s impossible. That’s like going to Vegas and rolling the dice 20-30 times and you only lose twice. Come on.

he found joy in their playoff defeats:

And loved their Super Bowl losses:
