Harrison has repeatedly said he won't change the way he plays the game. He's still head hunting...Goodell will likely send him a message since he's a repeat offender.

He is a piece of shit. There is a big difference between a nice hit and what he did. The guy is a disgrace to the game because he respects no one!

Agree he is fair game, BUT you cant go helmet to helmet on any part of the field anymore. Lower the shoulder and drill him in the chest.

Ray Lewis said the same exact thing after he went helmet to helmet and concussed Hines Ward. See if the league is consistent as they are both repeat offenders and both have made the same statement after the fact.

you might as well put skirts on these QB's anymore.thats all i here and see is oh you can't hit him, refs throwing flags when you even brush against them, you can't even play saftey anymore, soon as you zero in for your hit the flag is coming out of the pocket already, this is not football anymore, sometimes i can't even watch it,why even wear the pads ,you don't need them in the no contact football league

phucken stupid rule. The NFL players have said they would rather get a concussion then to have someone take their knees out. This rule is not enforces equally and it is well known around the league.

Dont confuse the ticky tick fouls that most dislike with what harrison has done on several occasions

big enough difference to exclude him from the group who are penalized for next to nothing and as a result the game isnt the same, for the worse

No, Harrison hits are not part of that group

If he played for your team you would love him and defend him... 3 years ago 5 years ago and the last 40 some years this is called football... This is what many players lobbied for and said was ok. Yep Harrison nailed him...I for one don't want to see anyones head knocked off but if it was YOUR team you wouldn't mind would you...

I guess I am old school. I have always liked slobber knocker football. Been a Steelers fan for over 35 years and they don't call Pittsburgh Linebacker U for nothing. For years Steelers fans have enjoyed hard hitting football. Our defense has help bring home a lot of hardware.
I understand the game has to change because the size and speed of these kids. The problem I have is when you hit a player his head is going to come down as his body folds up. In turn this brings the helmets together. I have coached football for 10 years. I teach a cradle technic which basically teaches a kid to lead with your eyes. Now for those of you that have played the game you know what hitting with your face mask feels like. For those of you that don't its like falling down on your bike and landing on your face because most likely your face mask is on your forehead. I get sick of hearing don't lead with the crown of your helmet as every big hit comes with having perfect technic. From this point forward watch how the body folds up on the hard hits bringing the head to head contact. All I am going to say is get rid of the rule until you can call it correctly and fairly to ALL the players.
