i never did mind the oilers moving to tenn as long as they took bud adams with them. i know houston would welcome fisher back and let the broncos have kubiak. we'll trade kubiak for a box of jockstraps and they dont have to be new.

fisher is good, maybe even great, but he really gets a pass for basically one year of success int he playoffs, maybe two, one SB run, lost, and one run to afc championship

did they make another afc championship?

whats his playoff record?

hes a likeable coach because of his communication style, no nonsense...holds players accountable

thats a big part of his getting a pass imo

Best thing that ever could have happened to Fisher. Quality coach moving on to greenier pastures. Going to be a long season for titan fan.

His overall record is 142-120
Playoff record is 5-6 (remember, he had 3 of those wins in 1999)
As a #1 seed in the playoffs his record is 0-2 at home
Super Bowl record: 0-1

Is that a record of a good coach. If he was a coach in any big market he would have been run out of town years ago.

He is average at best.

Bud Adams may be a clown, but Fisher has been over rated for years. If you look at his whole body of work, he does best off years where he had a losing record and when he does do well, the next year he is terrible when expectations are high.

3 times out of 17 years has he had back to back 10 win season. He has only had 6 10+ wins in a year. All the other years, he was 8-8 or worse.

The only reason he has been here the lenght of time he has is because the media is small in nature and they are scared of him. He can say and do what he wants and no one questions it. If the media spoke out, their privelages were yanked from them. I know that for a fact since one of my friends is in radio in Nashville.
