jets sideline wall

idk if there is a thread already about this, but I just got home and am watching the best of mike and mike and theyre tlaking about how the jets had the sidelines "wall'd" up so to speak, having players, in addition the sal ansolinoa guy too, stand closer to the sidelines.

teh jets sepcial teams coach is sme westhoff guy that said he was unaware of it but that teams do do this throughout the league, saying the pats when theyre on defense.

my point is, doesnt this seem like good gamesmanship? i realize the trip was stupid, but the position he and players/asst coaches were standing in during hte return now is a point of discussiom...seems like good strategy to me.

It only really becomes an issue when the dumb coach sticks his leg out to trip the guy, now it makes everyone look at the whole thing and say WTF. It's been going on forever with no one really saying anything (because no tripping). JMO

i dont mind the knee trip from a player really even either, but from a coach, whos kind of younger too,...its pretty wtf

Right after the incident a player, I don't recall who, commented that there would NEVER be a group of guys lined up like that ever...it just doesn't happen.

Then the report today is that the coach got 5 players to stand in a line next to him intentionally to do that. It just gets worse for the guy, and rightfully so.

Simply put, play the game with honor. As Ace said in Casino:
"Either he is in on it, or he is too stupid to know about it. Either way, he's out!"
