Thumbs down Are the Jets the worst & luckiest playoff team ever?

Assuming they hold on and don't choke

Seriously, they basically get lucky twice in a row to end the season with teams who don't give a crap.

I mean even the Dolphins beat them twice

And even though I think they lose next week, they get lucky again and play another game against probably 2nd worst AFC team in playoffs and overrated.

What you think?

agree the jets arent that good BUT they sure can run the damn football !!! sometimes that mixed with a good defense (which they also have) can go a long way in the playoffs.

Worst part is they have a legit defense and can run the ball, if Sanchez can play mistake free football they could actually win a playoff game. Such a disgrace.

Very lucky they get to play 2 quality teams at the end of the season that lay down for them. If these games are played Week 11 and Week 12 the Jets are most likely not a playoff team.

I could probably go back and find a thread last year saying Arizona was one of the worst playoff teams ever because they finished the season so poorly. They made the Superbowl. Jets probably don't have a prayer although with a rookie QB.

The Jets are not getting enough credit. They have the top ranked rushing offense AND the top ranked overall defense in the sport. Of particular importance, they have the top-ranked pass defense (mainly due to having a dominant secondary). They will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Jets are a solid team but definitely not a playoff team yet. You can win regular season games running the ball and playing defense but in the playoffs you will have to actually make plays from the QB position to beat teams who actually punch back like the Pats, Chargers and Colts.

If Sanchez develops and no reason he shouldnt the Jets have a solid future.....something most teams cant say.
