not really sure why they fired him to be honest

have dealt with injuries at some major positions the past few years, namely QB and RB and an aging defense, still managed to keep their heads above water.

The bigger question is what the hell took so long to fire him, especially if it was week 17 that did him in?

My only thought can be that they want to bring in Shanahan.

Has Monte Kiffin actually accepted a position at UT yet. This team looks like they are headed back to the hapless Bucs.

Old defense, no QB, possibly lose big time DC. I am sure glad I am not a Bucs fan.

I wasn't referring to Kiffin possibly getting the job. I was just curious as I never officially saw Kiffin was hired by UT.

With Kiffin gone, old defense, no qb it might make sense to just start all over.
