so you fire a very good offensive coach to hire another offensive coach with no experience? am i missing something here? that wasnt the area of the team that needed to be addressed

Bingo. Spags would've been the much better fit, but I think Bowlen's in love with the idea of having an explosive offense and forgets that you NEED a defense to go anywhere.

Just like this year, Denver goes 8-8 next year and misses the playoffs again.

From what I hear, fans in Denver are not too happy about the hiring because of the lack of experience. I dont live there, just what I am reading and hearing on sports talk up here in Boston. Im not sure hes head coach material, at least yet. I guess well see. But I def dont think this makes them better, at least for the near future.

This hire is a mystery to me. The Bronco's give up 112 points in their last 3 games and 30 or more points in 10 of their 16 games and they hire an alleged offensive guru? I guess that they are looking for a lot of 45-42 wins next season.
