You are right, i did post an hour late. That wasen't even the point of my thread had you been paying attention. I was commenting on the san fran defense. Anyway, my bet was placed and confirmed on bodog. So continuing with my origonal thread. Now it is coming up on the 4th quarter and i am even more impressed. They consistently get pressure and have not really given up any big plays. Nate Davis sure did have an impressive throw and i was even more surprised ted ginn caught it.

and this is preseason, D looks decent, but they only faced 1 series against the vikings #1 offense. not really much to brag about here yet IMO.

Once again, i did not start this to talk about my pick, I simply stated my observation of the san fran D and for some reason you want to argue with me about it. Kinda reminds me of the way a wife wound nag a hubby. San Fran impressed me, if they did not impress you that is just fine with me and I wont argue that because it is your opinion. So anyway, they have looked solid and I believe they have a legit chance at winning the west this year. This could be the return of the 49er's to the playoffs

huh? this is a sports forum .. the whole purpose is to debate and talk about things. i am saying i disagree and was wondering why u think the SF defense looked good this year?

peyton manning simply picked them APART in the first preseason game. the first drive resulted in a drive that stalled at the 3 yard line and resulted in a FG. the 2nd drive results in a touchdown. then the colts pulled all their starters.

i cant understand why you would say their defense looks good when they have faced 3 drives vs. starting offenses. 2 results in FGs and the other resulted in a touchdown.

you are like the dumb bitch who states something and has NO facts to support it. this is a place for DISCUSSION. so if your thread was about the SF defense, and now posting your 'bet' an hour late, then give me some reasonings as to why you think the first team D looks good this year, that is all i am asking for.

Give it up lunchbox. I was impressed with the D. Is that a problem for you? And yes I did post my pick under my comments about the defense. When bodog paid me last night they did not bitch or complain one bit so I dont know why it has your panties in a bunch. My gut tells me you do not rely on me for your picks so leave it alone. In fact, go back to the top of the page and read theis entire thread over again. I commented on the pressure in the backfield and the coverage downfield. They were quick to the ball all night. This is the team that will win the west IMO. Its funny to me that people go out of thier way to be an ass about something that does not matter. Had I started a thread half way through the 2nd quarter called "GOY Preseason" I could understand your gripe. The reality is it would have been foolish to state my obsevations before the game started don't you think? What would I be commenting on then, thier pregame attitude? Thus, an hour into the game I realized I "just Noticed" (the title) how good the san fran D looked. So I would suggest a GED course or something comparable to aid you in reading my oh so confusing statement. I have no issues with Bigsportsguy2006 what so ever, just read what is on the screen correctly.

snoman, no issues here either buddy ... but ur post originally didnt have any reasonings, and then i gave my reasoning's as to why i disagreed with what you had stated ... again, its a sports forum. we are suppose to discuss amongst each other as to why you believe things and show some facts to support it. dont you find it kinda interesting how the first team defense hasnt stopped a first team offense? i agree they looked great against Painter and the colts, but lmao its Painter. he will never throw a pass in a meaningful NFL game is in his CAREER.

and i still think its weird u post the wager in the bottom of that thread. you usually like to posts your wagers before hand and get good lines as well (like u did in baseball). and i respect that and think it is a great move. so seeing this was a little strange to me

No worries brother. I was at a bar with no computer when kickoff happened.Had I been home it would have been posted before for sure. Philly is cool, have friends that live on Tree St not far from the stadium there. I used to play Basketball against alot of Philly kids growing up in AAU and other summer travel teams.
