j-c buddy just a little tip

im not an arrogant gambler, because there are lots of different ways and styles to win in this game

but this tip can be used by all. If you find a line -3 with the ml -150

you dont buy the hook for 20 cents or even 15 if the entire 3 points only costs you 50 cents

thats assuming you want the hook, which is in the long run -EV

mathematically buying a hook is to the books advantage

I love to use the ml in parlays when the price is right as well....

thanks guys, good advice. got screwed a bunch of times last year buying the hook and trying to save 40 cents instead of playing the ml and winning... got lucky this time, wont happen very often im sure though... looking forward to the year ahead

its not a blind rule, it depends on if you want the hook to begin with

which normally isnt a good idea

then it depends on how much the hook costs, and what the ML is
