KC agrees to trade TE Gonzalez to Atlanta
Tony Gonzalez is finally getting his wish.
The Chiefs have agreed to trade the perennial Pro Bowl tight end to the Atlanta Falcons for a second-round pick in the 2010 draft, FOXSports.com has learned. Gonzalez has been the symbol of the Chiefs offense for the past 12 seasons, making 10 consecutive Pro Bowls and six All-Pro teams. Kansas City drafted him with the 13th overall pick in 1997.

WOW... after all that talk about not trading him, they trade em. Hope Cassell loves Dwayne Bowe and only Dwayne Bowe.
This is also what pisses me off about GB. They've been offering KC a 3rd round pick for Tony G for the last two years and never upped the ante. Falcons seem to be doing everything right the past two years.

doesnt it seem this trade was inevitable yet they kept saying they wont trade him, and when they do, they get a pick next year.
2s and 3s are becoming the most valueable picks since noone wants to pay anyone 1st round money. piolli doing good so far bringing his attitude of stock piling 2s and 3s |

My Fave player on my Fave team. Not a bad move for KC in general & ATL I think this helps them both out |

This really helps Atlanta. They need someone at TE who can help their young QB. This frees up their first round pick. They can now pursue help on the DL. Evander Hood is now in the picture.

I always wondered why ATL gave up on Alge Crumpler. Dude is and was solid.
