Would have been more impressive had this thread started before the game.

Didn't you mean to say..

7-0 ATS last 7 times getting DD, and won SU @ SD last year as a 12 pt dog,, and hadn't lost at SD by more than 15 since 1987?

That's what I thought you meant.

I wasn't going back that far, but damn nice info. The Chiefs suck, but they are a tough opponent. They got me well versus Denver, Tampa, Jets, and Chargers!

This KC team is a much different team with Thigpen..check the last 3 games with him under center..awesome stats for him..5 TD passes, no INT's.. KC 3-0 ATS and 1-2 with him, but some real late losses, could easily be 3-0 SU

They will win their share yet this season

This SD spread was sucker bet of the year, imo. A 3-5 team laying 15?? Wonder if that has EVER happened before?

the chiefs are improved, yes, but they are still bad.

they are using 3rd string RBs, missing most of their DBs, all 3 of their 1st string LBs, down to tyler thigpen (who is proving himself slowly but surely, but a 3rd stringer no less) and a whole mess of other injuries.

a team that young and riddled with injuries should never hang ON THE ROAD with this so-called super bowl contender.

i think today was almost as much of a case, if not more, of the chargers being a fraud than it was the chiefs being good. they are a below average team that got beat by an average team imo. i mean thigpen emerging does little to nothing for a defense full of backups and rookies.

and i'm one of the suckers for taking san diego, i have no problem admitting when i'm wrong, something many at the mall have trouble with lol

I hear ya! I'm originally from KC, so I got rights on saying they suck. They look 1/2 way decent with Thigpen and w/o Johnson. They just need to learn how to hold on for the victory. I liked Herm's call to go for 2 at the end. They didn't make it, but watch out next week, the players might respond well to this and shock the Saints next week.

Chiefs led TB, lost in OT, and came close at Jets, but I am sure both of those teams weren't emotionally in the game, due to KC's record. But no excuses for this fraud of a conterder, as they had 2 weeks to prepare and needed the game bit time. So, is KC getting better, or is SD that bad, with their 32nd ranked pass D?

Maybe some of both??

KC getting 4 1/2 next week, from a team that is 0-5 SU and ATS away from home !!!!

Looks good to me, especially if Bush remains out
