In the worst kept secret since Clay Aiken announced he was gay

Kiffen and I graduated from the same high school here in MInny though I don't know him. I'm glad he made that idiot Davis fire him so he gets his money.

Prediction- The next coach of the Syracuse Orange will be Kiffen. You heard it here first

Al Davis is a disgrace to the NFL.
I wish him nothing but a Casket.
He has no idea what is going on in the NFL.
When you see him in his Box he looks like a Person in A wax Museum.
The raiders are in the top 3 of the worst organizations in the NFL.
I think this is 5 coaches since this trash team got beat down by Tampa.
Once he is in a Casket the raiders will be back on the Map.
He stills owes Mike Shanahan money from years ago this is why Denver dominates this piece of shit team when they play!

FU AL DAVIS YOU ARE A STUPID OLD FOOL!

Just do us all a favor and get in the CASKET!

I don't often agree with Colin Coherd, but I do when he says there are 31 NFL teams and then the Raiders.

Al Davis is a joke.

depends on how the contract was written...if anything was said about remainder of monies on contract not being owed due to performance issues, then no way that contract has to be honoured and nothing should be owed

why would he sign a contract like that though, especially when the raiders were 2-14 in 2006

From a friend of a friend of a friend etc. there are rumors out there already.

But there will be an opening there, and Kiffen much better suited for the colllege game to begin with. May not be Syracuse, but he will have a college head coaching job next season, if he wants it, My best guess is Syracuse

Don't know of any coach that would have performance issues contract, unless it had to do with personal conduct issues, DWI, drug bust etc., but for having an awful record? No

If Matt Millen has been gettting paid for the last decade and this year, then Kiffen would sure get paid

From Syracuse paper today

Syracuse, NY -- Syracuse has a coaching candidate, even while it has a sitting coach. I know. Weird. Lane Kiffin has zoomed to the front of the line to replace Greg Robinson because, well, he's available ... right now. For so many in the exasperated Orange Nation, that makes for perfect synergy because they desperately want Greg Robinson placed on the curb. Get Kiffin in here now, they say, because he can roll up his sleeves and begin fixing the biggest mess in the history of Syracuse football.
As nice as all that sounds, there are reasons that if Kiffin ends up being the guy Daryl Gross and Nancy Cantor ultimately decide is their head football coach, the change of command might still not take place until after the Orange's final game of the season against Cincinnati.
