Kurt Warners interview.....
Granted only heard bits of it....but he came across as a humble and modest guy. Attributing his success to the great players around him etc.
IMO its refreshing big time to hear. Too many players you can not humble or modest. For the record I think the Cards run comes to an abrupt end in 2 weeks, just an early lean.

Have always respected Warner...he's also somewhat of a religious guy as well....agree with your lean

Agree. Especially when you take into account that he had already won 1 Superbowl. He seemed to be happy that he was able to help a team that has not been to the Superbowl in over 60 years for the first time. I'm happy for him and the Cardinals and I hope they will win the Superbowl. You never know, just like the Patriots did it against the Rams. After all, Ken Whisenhunt did coach for the Steelers, so at least there is some knowledge there. But it will be tough battle against the great defense of the Steelers.

He has never forgotten where he came from and fortunately realizes he has had an opportunity to throw to a pair of receivers with both the rams and cardinals that most quarterbacks can only dream of.

a very humbling man from Iowa - much like our Masters winner and yesterday's golf winner in Hawaii- Zach Johnson

was it just me or did anyone see a bible in one hand when he ran up to Fitzgerald at the podium and hugged him?

I guess Warners Jesus liked him more than Donovans Jesus
I really do get tired of listening to athletes tell the world how they thank jesus for helping them get the victory, does that mean jesus helped the losing team in losing as well? And if that is the case that really is not a very nice jesus is it? |

I'm just glad that we do not have to listen to two more weeks of Donivan McChoke and the Eagles. I am really looking forward to this Superbowl. The new kids on the block against the old pro's. I took the AFC-1 two weeks ago at the Hilton in Vegas. Now I will middle and take the Cards +7. I will probably lose a little vig, but I will enjoy this game.
