Late to the Party here but wait a minute the line didn't move...

I realize the line maybe opened at -1 Giants originally but days before gametime the line was already at -3.

The venue changes to a neutral site...from Gmen having trouble being stranded with Minny comfortably at home

To both teams having to travel to a neutral site and the line is -4? 1 point move with a change of venue?

Thoughts here?

Anyone from Detroit there to see the game, will no doubt be cheering for the G-Men given that Detroit and Minnesota are in the same division.

Or that could make absolutely no difference at all here......just sayin. I'm wondering how many even show up, free tickets and all.

Im not 100% certain but I think there are two factors that made the line jump. At -1 I think books thought farve would play so went to -3 then since neutral site it bumps again to -4. Of course there wont many vike fans tonight and like bigbear said. It will be more of a home game for NY

good points guys and i think if anything those insights would lead the line to be higher than it is...-1 open OK it moved to -3 as favre looked less ready but it was steady around the -3....then after a change of venue it only changed to -4? the books are supposed to be looking for balanced action but it seems to me if they opened -6 Gmen would they really be worried about getting Gmen action? Something is off here I think....ala Indy Tennessee or Philly Dallas this week. Team that everybody is sure should win and probably will...but may well be a lot closer than expected? I have no idea but the line is saying a little something it seems
