Leftwich to Bucs

Leftwich signed two year deal with the Bucs. This might not be a bad move here

I think the Bucs missed the boat here. He is way too injury prone for my likings. Has been since he was in college.

Wish he was a Steeler still. He is nothing more then a backup.

Agreed, but I think that the Bucs need more than an injury prone backup at QB.

He could be a backup in Tampa if they grab Vick after 7/20

...or if they don't succeed in signing him

Vick does not play until late in the 2009-10 season or next season. No one wants him. Get serious.

Agree.. Lost alot of weight since his early NFL days.. Came into camp for Pitt lean and hungry and put in the time to learn the system very well.. A couple of years off may just have been what the doctor ordered.. Look very good when he replaced Ben.. Think he may surprise some.. Real life jobs suck.. Plus a major pay hit for most..Had no trouble with his windup behind Pitt's line .. They o-line actually looked better because he likes the quick read..ala slant play that Ben hates.. There are worse QB,s starting in the NFL IMO.. Sorry to see him leave.. Team player in the Burgh..
