A little bit of lost respect tonight for Adrian Peterson....

You are getting paid MILLIONS.....you are a young, strong, talented running back that your team relies on. It's your JOB..... The NFL is about competition and you are playing one of your rivals......you are going to sit out with a thigh bruise but yet your 40+ year old QB is going to sack it up and play tonight with a sprained throwing shoulder...

AP, take your purse and go sit in the owners box.....

Also shows me what is wrong in the world......AP getting paid Millions. Average Joe, who probably isn't a football player, isn't going to miss work due to a bruise or stuffy nose. If you do, you belong in AP's category....

Peterson (knee) will not play Monday night against Chicago, according to ESPN's Ed Werder.
Spin:
The Vikings were optimistic about Peterson playing, but the expected treacherous footing at a snowy and icy TCF Bank Stadium apparently convinced Minnesota to play it safe. This is devastating for fantasy owners who rolled the dice on his status and are stuck without a replacement option.

dont blame him really...nothing to play for and words of dangerous playing field. one bad luck moment and your career could end.

AP has a career and future contract situations to think about, it's the NFLs fault.

Favre is done. Gunslingers last battle and he's going out in a blaze. He doesn't have a career to worry about.

True and why would Vikings risk their best player's health in a meaningless game and on a horrible turf.

This makes perfect sense.

Do feel sorry for fantasy owners who are not allowed to make a pick up now
