negative. you can bet your entire bankroll that Philly goes off in this game and covers the 9 easily, especially since you pointed it out now. Texans are 0-3 ATS in their last 3 games away from home, if Andre Johnson gets suspended for this game I don't think they will have a chance to keep this game close as I see Vick torching their defense.

i stand corrected 1-2 ATS in their last 3 games. not a good spot still IMO for anyone trying to find value but we'll see what happens next week

Players and fans both waaaaaaay too confident in philly. They lost and lost bad yesterday to a better team, yet everyone will continue to think philly can't be stopped.

Lol so many will/would argue bears aren't better. Fact is philly isn't that good. And neither is any other team in the nfl

Philadelphia I think is as good as maybe anyone in the NFC. That said any given Sunday & hard to beat good teams on the road. It was a good spot for Bears, they played well & are a good team

That said Bears have a brutal finish to schedule

Can't see playing this game though. Pass for me

Andre Johnson will play this game, the league has to give a team 5 days notice for a suspension of a player, this game is on Thursday Night.

the eagles werent as bad as the score showed. there was a fluke tip int that instead of them leading 20-14 at half they were down 21-13. Plus samuel was out and he's a big part of their defense

The Texans cant play any defense so I expect vick to have a huge game

Bears still have a lot to prove IMO....Jets, Patriots, @Vkings, and @ Green Bay. Most of their "difficult" games have been at home too.

Bears have only beaten 2 teams with a winning record.

Please give credit were credit is due. I know you hate the Bears and Cutler, but the Bears beat the Eagles easily. So a fluke tip was the cause of the game going the other way? Pleaseeeeeeeeee. The DL job is to get to the QB or put their hands up to deflect the pass. It's part of the game and happens in every game. If I remember correctly, the Eagles were in the red zone 5 times and scored a TD 1 time. So I guess that was a fluke to huh?

The Bears offense took a nine minute drive right down the Eagles throat in the 3rd quarter and sealed the game with that. They couldn't tackle with a crap and Cutler made all the right decisions.

If they played again, would we have the same results? Who knows, but the Bears won this game and the Eagles didn't. That's the bottom line.

First off Philly is an excellent team. But to say that the Bears got them at a good time is not correct - Bears were coming off 3 straight wins and Philly was red hot.

Sure Philly closed in towards halftime but you ignore the fact they went down 14-3 to start. They tried to close the gap and the Bears got another big turnover. But that's no fluke, they get big turnovers in every game, that is how they win. The Bears were up 18 in the 4th quarter and the defense played so well that Andy Reid, a good coach, actually took 2 FGs to get down to being down 12 points (WTF WAS THAT???). Because he knew they weren't getting the TD.

Philly got a garbage time TD -- they are the team that looked better than they were yesterday. Bears were superior in every regard including quarterback.

I know it hurts to read that sentence above if you became a Vick Kool-Aid guy but it's true. The Bears played better in every regard. Maybe because they had 10 days to prepare -- or maybe because the eagles began to drink their own kool-aid believing all they had to do was show up.

Defense still wins the game, and wins the playoffs and championships. That's why teams like New England and Philly are suspect come the playoffs and won't advancee this year, no matter what Peter King seems to believe.

And I'm not saying the Bears win anything this year. Their O-line is just a bit too weak but compared to the current state of things in this league, they are a top 10 team, easily, with no fear whatsoever within the NFC at this point. Ok their fear would be playing Atlanta in Atlanta, that's about it.

Jets and NE are at home, Detroit, GB and Minny remain away. I'm not sure exactly where you guys think the schedule gets all that tough -- are you sure at this point that the bears are not superior to the jets? and if cutler keeps progressing are you sure with their defense the patriots are going to torch them?

And which division game should they fear - Detroit? LOL
Minny - sure they are "revived" but beating washington doesn't exactly impress
GB - that's a tough one, but it may not even matter if the bears win enough before then

so in conclusion, of course the bears are not totally proven. there's a big difference between being a brady/manning/brees who show game after game and season after season how good they are -- and cutler and the bears weak O-line.

My point isn't to hype up the bears but to say instead that this year's NFL has NO -- ZERO great teams. When a team like the bears can progress in season to where they are now and beat philly, you have to be willing to give up on any biases or beliefs that there are superior teams.

I never said they didnt, i said the game wasnt as bad as the score showed. If you dont think a 2 td swing at the end of a half is a big deal then i cant help you. Also, no samuel is pretty important to the eagles defense

Well bisket play it if you see value. I myself will wait. I wouldn't want to piss off a PIT BULL after a loss. I think shutting out the TITANS shows alot for the TEXANS defense. I doubt anyone will be suspended from the fight. We will see. I want the line to go down a little. Maybe 7 or 8.

My memory is a little shot, the Bears whitewashed the Redskins, right! The Bears destroyed the Redskins, right! Let's not get ahead of ourselves, okay!
