If they come to LA they are foolish. No NFL team can make it in the market.

It's gonna be interesting to see what comes of this. They really can't make anymore major improvements to the Edward Jones Dome unless they tear it down and rebuild it which won't happen.

Do you think the city would support the team ? They have failed before and now the economy is in the toilet. Friends that live in LA tell me that they have to much other stuff to do. Interested in your thoughts.

I think you would be able to find 70 to 80k people to fill up the stadium 10 times a year. The proposed LA stadium is calling for 70 to 80k right ? I think the LA metro area is about 10 million. We usually have about 40k to 50k a game in STL and were only about 2.5 to 3 million metro area and the teams been awful for quite sometime.

if the clippers could be one of the most profitable teams with the crap rosters they have put together over the years, why couldn't an american football team excel there?

The Rams moving back to Los Angeles would be a great fit. They are already in the NSC West, so there would be no need to reallign divisions. They can renew their fierce rivalry with the 49ers, which suffered when the Rams moved to St. Louis. Unlike the Raiders, who stand for lawlessness and gang activities in Los Angeles, the Rams would be welcomed with open arms.

a lot of people here still don their LA rams apparel. I hear a lot of people asking for the team or any team really.
Football now is pretty big. Plus the new stadium which will have more public transit to it will attract people.

The economy is a crap excuse. People still spend money. Especially in the LA area.

Totally supported.
It's been said Los Angeles lead the economic down turn IE propery values / job loss/ the city being broke..it's also been said we would be on the recovery track sooner than most cities in the US ..you can feel a shift here in the economy and there is no lack of big spenders in this city.
The raiders were a disaster in LA..no one trusted Davis, from the moment the raiders arrived he was threatening the city with the loss of the team if the coliseum wasn't improved ...also at that time LA was suffering a rash of gang problems and honestly the fan base was rather thuggish .. You basically had crips and bloods fighting it out in the parking lots and stands of the coliseum.
The coliseum is a relic .. Small bathrooms.. bad concessions ...no sky boxes and lack of parking..not to mention a very rough neighborhood at that time. In LA that won't fly with the folks spending money..
I don't think you can over look the nostalgia factor in bringing back the Rams
I always thought if LA got an nfl team it should be called the rams..I saw it working like the browns / ravens name transfers worked.. St Louis renaming there team and LA getting a new franchise ...

I think a better question here is this ownership group worthy of a new stadium and the support of the LA basin...

I love to see the rams back in LA ...

Are you kidding? It would be huge. The NFL is a different animal now. This isn't 1990.
