Luck and Harbaugh

Are they a package deal? Both Denver and Carolina need both a coach and you can say a qb. I can see elway making a deal with Harbaugh then trading up for luck.

good damit buffalo u can even screw up winning.

I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Luck comes back for another year. I think the uncertainty of the impending lockout might affect his decision. Regardless when he comes out, he will be the top pick & potentially getting his degree may be what is important to him right now.

imo the lockout would be a good time to come out...get drafted and sign a guaranteed contract...get paid..don't have to play and go to school during the lock out

If Luck is drafted he is not eligible to play college, in fact I believe as soon as he hires an agent he is not eligible to play college anymore.

I don't see Luck staying another year, I think he learned with what happened to another Pac10 QB when you stay one more year when you could come out and make millions and instead just cost himself millions. Don't see anything good coming with Luck staying next year especailly since I don't believe Harbaugh will be there and Stanford will be losing alot of seniors and next year I believe will be a down year for the Cardinals.

Nothing good can happen to Luck if he stays in college. He will be expected to out perform what he did this year. Look at all of the college QB's who have stayed. Leinart, Locker, and others all lost value in their last year of college. Luck declares shortly. As far as where he goes, the 49ers can come up with a nice package to trade to Carolina for the #1 pick. If Carolina opts for Cowher, he will want to rebuild the defense and their running game first. When you are 2-14, you need a lot more help than just one player. If Harbaugh goes to the 49ers, as widely expected now, he will want Luck because Luck knows the system he will use. It could be a win-win for both teams.

Cowher is going somewhere with a franchise QB. If he goes to Carolina, they take Luck. Clausen is mid 2nd round draft pick, not the end of the world if he is there backup. Carolina will take Luck.
