***So I am not accused of being anti BSG***

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bills have traded running back Marshawn Lynch(notes) to the Seattle Seahawks, the player's agent told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Lynch's agent Doug Hendrickson said a deal was made, but he did not know what the Bills received in exchange. Lynch was the Bills' first-round draft pick in 2007.

Last week, the winless Bills released quarterback Trent Edwards(notes).

The team is in a rebuilding mode under first-year general manager Buddy Nix and coach Chan Gailey and had depth at the position with Fred Jackson(notes) and rookie first-round draft pick C.J. Spiller(notes).

The Seahawks (2-2) are looking to beef up their running game under first-year coach Pete Carroll. Justin Forsett(notes) leads Seattle with 215 yards and no touchdowns. Julius Jones(notes) has 12 carries for 30 yards.

The Bills and Seahawks, who enter their bye week, were not immediately available for comment.

"Marshawn's excited to go to the West Coast, but is very appreciative of the time he had in Buffalo," Hendrickson said. "It's bittersweet, because he wishes it would've worked out better in Buffalo."

Seattle got a good one... on the flip side as long as the bills got enough for him it should work for both teams, cause spilller gonna be a good one if he learns how to protect that is (one of the worst i have ever seen, but that usually happens with rookies)

Seattle is a joke, there is no way that they win the NFC West. Have you not seen them play this year ?

Yes, they beat a highly touted SF in week one, and a Superbowl contenter SD in week 3, so I'm pretty sure they're no joke overall, only on the road they are.

8-8 might be enough in the NFC West.

That's my point, I understand that the 49ers haven't won a game yet but they have played tight games against two top contenders(New Orleans & Atlanta). Seattle has been pathetic on the road and they got extremely lucky against San Diego with those two miracle kickoff returns by Leon Washington. I wouldn't say that San Diego is a Super Bowl Contender quite yet either because they have the same problem as Seattle right now and that is not being able to win on the road.

I agree the 49ers are a strong bet this Sunday, San Francisco is a 3.5 favorite. I can see it getting up to 6 or 7 by kickoff, especially if LeSean McCoy can't go.

I watch all the Bills games up here. Lynch is only an average running back, Fred Jackson is actually the better Bills back. Don't think Lynch will improve Seattle all that much.

I agree. Despite his age, I think Lynch's best years are already behind him and if he was of any value, the Bills would not have traded him. He has been the main guy for the most part so far this year and done nothing, so dont see how his value gets any better by going to a very mediocre team in Seattle.
