Manning, Cutler, and Rivers all had 1 thing in common: a lack of a run game this year, which meant all the work was on their shoulders.

The only difference is that Manning did it better. A very big congratulations to him. I would've definitely voted for Pennington this year, though.

Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league. He does everything better then any other QB. I know a lot od people talk about Brady but I believe Peyton is a few steps ahead of him. Well deserved award.

Yea Nac, what Manning did was great. This wasnt some of the previous years Colts teams with injuries, lack of running game and Harrison slowing down.

Maybe as good as Brady when he didn't have Moss on his team

Denver = 116 rushing yards per game #12 in the NFL

San Diego = 108 rushing yards per game #20 in the NFL

Indianapolis = 80 rushing yards per game #31 in the NFL

Let's not try to compare Rivers and Cutler to Manning.....No need to slap a 3 time MVP in the face....

If you actually read what I wrote, I'm comparing him very favourably. Everyone kept talking about the lack of Denver's run game, and SD's run game, but it's almost like they forgot Addai's shit and hurt half the time and Rhodes is definitely a backup for a reason. Manning carried that team MUCH BETTER (you read that right?) than the 2 run games that were spoken of more often.

This was by far and away his best year , This team had alot of offensive line issues and no running game plus the injury to start out the season , well deserved award!

Probably deserved, but I think AP may have challenged for it if he didn't go fumble crazy down the stretch.(go ahead, call me a homer.) My other thought was this was the year a defensive player could have won the award. I'd have James Harrison right up there with manning and Demarcus Ware if Cowboys wouldn't have choked. Anyone else think Harrison was a legit candidate this year?

Ha, just noticed your av hus that's kinda funny, probably just went into hibernation for a little while after the cattleboys demise. He'll be back to gloat about the yankee's, hopefully before tho.

It's tough to point the finger at 1 of the Steelers' D and say he's the MVP. They have a lot of good players.

But I won't take away from the fact that he had an MVP-calibre season. I just see him, or any of those guys, getting snubbed simply because they're always that good, and expected to be that good.
