move doesn't make sense to me. yeah minnesota needs a qb but they pretty much just need a place holder until they feel Ponder is ready which they have made clear they prefer it to be this year. Does McNabb really want to play for a team that is going to struggle to get to 6 wins and just play him until a rookie is ready.

McNabb almost needs to take the job as probably the only place in NFL he will walk in and be named the starting qb from day 1. Will give him opportunity to prove he still has something left in the tank and possibly get another shot down the road.

Is there any chance McNabb stays with Washington?

Absolutely no chance he stays in Washington. He didn't get along with Kyle Shanahan and that means you don't get along with his dad Mike either, who controls your job. Donovan will be in Minnesota because they don't want to start Christian Ponder as a rookie. If Minnesota signs Sidney Rice, he will have much better weapons than he did in Washington. Along with Rice, Harvin and AP to hand the ball off too, I'd be happy to get out of Washington if I was Donovan.

McNabb in Minn and the Viks win more than 6 games for sure. They may not be great, but it increases the odds they bring back Rice, cause they'll get McNabb at a discount. I still think Donovan has a couple of good years left in him too. Even though rookie QBs seem to be making an impact sooner, McNabb is a huge upgrade this year from Ponder or T-Jax.

Well they got McNabb in MN for a 6th round draft pick. This was a cheap cost for a vet QB. Lost Rice to Seattle... But should be able to pick up a quality receiver from somewhere.... More then 6 wins for sure...

Gove move for both the Vikes and McNabb. Hes got Harvin and probably Rice coming back, plus AP to fall on to.

Solid move but they got too many holes and now in a division that has come very tough.
