yes the guy behind him is good but they can spell each other...he's been practicing on it for a while. I would expect him to miss some time but I think he should be good to go

wondering if the Chargers will be as loyal to him when he can't play on it any longer. Somehow I doubt it.

Evan: What? One name? ONE NAME!?!? Who are you? Seal?
Seth: Fogell, this ID says that you're 25 years old. Why wouldn't you just put 21, man?
Fogell: Seth, Seth, Seth. Listen up, ass-face: every day, hundreds of kids go into the liquor store with fake IDs, and every single one says they're 21. Pssh, how many 21 year olds do you think there are in this town? It's called f*cking strategy, alright?

well it's his decision to play...he could say no and get healthy for his contract year. If he's willing to accept what the chargers think he's worth then they will make a deal, but lately he's sorta gone hollywood so he may be asking for crazy dollars and with guys like cromartie, mcneill and rivers still needing new deals it might not make sense with a guy like Jyles Tucker behind him

hope the knee holds up for him. 70% of merriman is better than most starters out there. Chargers have enough depth to compensate and will be jussssst fine

Bad move for him IMO. I know - he wants to play as all of us would. I don't blame him at all for wanting to play, but the negatives out-weigh the positives IMO.

the bad move was when Kevin Mawae cheaped shoted his knee while he tied up with another player during the play.

its the way the players are on this team...its the reason rivers went out on an acl tear last year...they all want to win and you cant blame them for it. He's been practicing for weeks on it and he's looked great...I have no doubts he'll be effective

I appreciate that... I do. I just have a bad feeling like Philly says... he'll be out before the season's overwith.
