Question Michael Vick returns to Atlanta - Who wins?

Philadelphia -2.5, 50 at Atlanta

Falcons looked terrible but they will play much better at home. Leaning Atlanta.

But something tells me Vick will shine

Who do you like?

They play SNF? Vick throws 4 TDs. I don't know the stats or any of that off the top of my head, but I know the Eagles always put on exciting games when they played SNF/MNF.

I'll be playing that game most likely. The Eagles are no 'dream team,' but they do know how to put on a show.

The Eagles hold a 14-10-1 edge in their all-time regular season series with the Falcons, and have won each of the last three head-to-head meetings with Atlanta. Philadelphia was a 34-7 winner when it visited the Georgia Dome in Week 13 of last season, a game that saw Chris Redman start in place of the injured Ryan. Vick led Atlanta to its most recent win in the series, a 14-10 affair at the Georgia Dome in a Monday Night matchup to open the 2005 campaign.

In addition to their regular season advantage, the Eagles are 2-1 against the Falcons in the playoffs. Philadelphia was a 27-10 winner in the 2004 NFC Championship, defeated the Falcons, 20-6, in a 2002 NFC Divisional Playoff, and dropped a 14-13 road decision in a 1978 NFC First-Round Playoff.

Including playoffs, the Falcons are 0-5 in Philadelphia since last winning there in 1988.

Eagles head coach Andy Reid is 7-1 as a head coach against Atlanta, including the two aforementioned playoff wins. The Falcons’ Mike Smith is 0-2 against both Reid and the Eagles as a head coach.

Sounds like a winner

not to mention that vick rushed for 100 yards himself to go along with mccoys 122 yards on the ground. when they werent running everywhere, d jackson had 100 yards receiving to complete the trifecta. The falcons werent even close to ready for the game regardless of how well the bears played. Facons passed the ball 47 times in a game that only saw 14 rushing attempts and 10 of those by turner. If the gameplan doesnt change, the eagles will control the clock the entire game and you will see alot of the falcons defense on the field. 4-14 on 3rd down compared to 8-12 for the eagles will be a factor as well. also add that only 3 of those 47 attempts ended up going for more than 15 yards. with all those people in the box and the newly acquired dbs in philly, this could turn out to be a long day.

E A G L E S Eagles

I just feel like the line should be at least 4pts. 2.5 is just...too easy almost.

I am actually surprised Philadelphia is favored in Atlanta. Thought it would be close to pick

Not touching this line. Atlanta played very well at home last year. Still want to see more from the Eagles O-line and the LBs. Should be a very fun game to watch, I hope

Exactly. Everyone knows Atlanta doesn't lose at home and they were favored at least by 3 over everyone including the Packers.....the one time they were favored by less than 3 was vs the Saints and they lost on a Monday.

Eagles look like the right side if ur just trying to read the line.

im with you, I think ATL is the play here. Monsters at home and definitely can not start off 0-2.
I see Turner pounding away at phillys extremely weak LB crew.
