Long overdue......play out the season now and lay the groundwork and do whatever it takes to get Bill Cowher. Better yet I think the Lions are pathetic enough that Parcells might want to come of retirement and coach this team. Nobody loves anything more hopeless than Parcells. (Pats, Jets, Cowboys were all jokes when he came and made them all relevant in no time)

PEACE

Wow about time

Ron - can't see Cowher taking this job but would be a great move if they could pull it off

I can see Cowher in either Cleveland or Cincinnati. Both of those coaches should get fired after this season unless they do an amazing turn around. Considering the intelligence of the owner of the Lions, I do not expect to see much of an improvment in the front office, though anyone would be an improvment.

I hope the "CHIN" does take the job. I kind of miss seeing it jutting out on the side lines.

Why stop there.. They should go ahead and fire every coach. The owner should put the team up for sale as they obviously have no idea as to how to run an NFL franchise... IMO What a joke. How can you make that many top draft picks and continue to suck every Sunday...

I'll miss that opportunity to win a bet he gave to us every time the draft came around. He always picked the #1 receiver with his first draft pick. He was money when it came to that.
