No doubt in my mind if this game was in minny or neutral site vikings win. The only thing that gives the saints a chance is that it's in new orleans. I still believe vikings are team of destiny since getting favre.

Best play of this weekend is the over 52.5 in this game in my opinion. Thankfully both of these defenses looked like the 85 Bears defense this past weekend else we would of seen another total in the high 50's, maybe even low 60's.

Both defenses looked great this past weekend, but like I said about the Boys offense going into this game against the Vikes if you can limit their run game and put the game in Romos hands then you have a great shot at looking like the 85 Bears defense but the fact still remains the same the Vikes defense is still very vulnerable to the passing game especially if you can't get at Brees. Boys moved the ball early in that game and Romo didn't dissappoint with his mistakes but this week this Saints offense and more importantly their passing game won't come up with the mistakes that the Boys did. Really do hope that Shockey is healthy and can play close to healthy as possible at this time of year, my big fear going into the Boys/Vikes game was with Witten in the middle and he did have a good game with 10 catches and 100 yards and if Shockey can go and be effective that really will open things up for Brees and the outside pass game even more. Other side the Saints are still very vulnerable to the run and will have to account for the Vikes run game which only starts to open up holes for Favre and the play action pass and as we have seen with the gunslinger getting the ball downfield in those one on one coverage situations(what a good looking player Rice has become). Saints defense looked great against the Cards but in all honesty they are still an average defense at best and Favre and this Vikes offense will put their points up on the board as well. But just as importantly both of these defenses for their problems still have some playmakers who can tip the field very quickly with a turnover or a score themselves and the Saints have been known to turn the ball over, and lets face it both Favre and AP have been known to turn the ball over as well. Also doesn't hurt that you have playmakers in special teams for both teams that can flip a field quickly or put points up on the board themselves and two fieldgoal kickers that I don't think will pull a Kaeding, LOL!! All in all I think there are enough points to be scored from every part of this game that I honestly believe the over will hit by the end of the third quarter or very close to hitting by then.

I do think the Vikes are the better team overall, but Minny has been shit on the road at 4-4 and 3 of those wins were against Clev, StL, and Det. Their defense is much better at home and I think Brees could have a big game. Sharper will take one to the house! Lean NO.

others have noticed Vikings played worse away but I think the main difference was being outdoors versus in, and they were quicker to "give up" in games later in the season. we will pressure Brees all day just like we did Romo
